Terms of Use

This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. What this is about
Munich Prices is a free app where people add, confirm and rate prices for typical snacks and drinks (for example a Halbe Helles, Aperol Spritz, Breze, Leberkässemmel, Weißwürste, or a döner with veal or chicken) in shops, pubs and restaurants. The app is provided by Paul Jonathan Hajek (see Imprint).
2. No guarantee for prices and information
- All prices come from the community or from publicly available sources such as menus and price boards. They may be wrong, out of date or incomplete.
- The price on site at the place itself is always what counts.
- Opening hours and place data come from OpenStreetMap and are provided without guarantee.
- The app is not an offer from the places listed and is not connected to them in any way.
- Drinks such as beer or Aperol Spritz only appear as a price. The app doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t take orders.
3. Your contributions
- Only add prices you have seen or paid yourself, and only rate a place if you were actually there.
- We have zero tolerance for offensive or abusive content. Deliberately false information, spam, insulting, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise unlawful content, and content that infringes the rights of others are not allowed. If someone breaks these rules, we remove the contributions and may block that person from contributing.
- Photos: only upload photos you took yourself, and only photograph the menu or price board, so no people and no number plates. Photos are checked before they are published. There is no right to have a photo published.
- By sending a contribution you grant the provider the simple, free and unlimited right to show it in the app (price, confirmation, rating, place details, photos). Contributions are shown with your optional display name, or as “anonymous” without one.
- Display names must not be insulting, contain advertising or impersonate other people. Unsuitable names are removed.
- You can remove all your contributions at any time in the app under “Profile → Delete all my contributions”.
4. Moderation and reports
- New prices, photos and places from other people only become visible to everyone after we have looked at and approved them. You see your own contributions straight away.
- Anyone can flag prices, photos, places and display names as wrong or inappropriate with “Report”. With “Hide this person’s contributions” you immediately stop seeing anything from that person.
- We look at reports within 24 hours. We remove unlawful or obviously false content, and anyone who breaks these rules can be blocked from contributing.
- On top of that there are automatic safeguards, for example plausibility limits, daily limits and a word filter for names.
5. Point of contact
The single point of contact for authorities, the European Commission and users under Art. 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) is kontakt@silverstone-consulting.com. You can write to us in German or English. You can send notices about unlawful content there at any time or report it directly in the app.
6. Liability
- The app is provided free of charge. The provider is only liable for intent and gross negligence, and without limitation for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.
- The provider is not responsible for content posted by users as long as he is not aware that it is unlawful. As soon as he becomes aware of it, he removes it without delay.
- There is no right to the app being available at all times.
7. Changes
The provider may change these terms if there is a good reason (for example new features or changes in the law). You will be informed in the app about significant changes.
8. Final provisions
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected. If any provision is invalid, the rest remains valid.
